Starbop - Starbop is a French version of the breakout type of games. It requires 16 colors or greater, has cool graphics, and has features not normally found in breakout. For one thing, the paddle is oriented so that it moves up and down, and the paddle is in the middle of the playing area, so you can hit to either side. Watch out, there are bricks that you should not hit!! Game play is quite fast. This is a great one from the author of Beebop! When you first open the game, a ball will bounce around like crazy, it's picking the speed for your Mac (I think). It takes a few seconds to load, be patient.
